Talons officially opened

Local MP Sheryll Murray was pleased to open a bird of prey centre, Talons, which offers hands on owl experiences and falconry courses at Hendra Farm near Pelynt in her South East Cornwall constituency.

‘Send My Friend to School’

Local MP Sheryll Murray was on hand to accept messages to the Prime Minister from pupils from Lerryn and St Winnow schools for the Prime Minister who is attending the UN Summit in September where it is hoped he can take forward the message help the millions of children who do not attend school.

MP welcomes new Superintendant for the Fishermen’s Mission

Local MP Sheryll Murray was very pleased to attend the Commissioning of Ian Murray as Superintendent for the Fishermen’s Mission.  Ian’s brother was Neil Murray, Sheryll’s husband, who she lost when he died whilst working on his fishing boat ‘Our Boy Andrew’.

Learning about food important and fun

Local MP Sheryll Murray’s first engagement was to attend an event put on to celebrate Food Revolution Day at Torpoint Town Hall on the Saturday morning following the election.  Sheryll joined Torpoint Mayor & Mayoress Mike and Val Pearn and their grandson Harry at the event which included Theatre about food and a pop up kitchen.
