Sheryll Murray and Johnny Mercer are not giving up the pressure for no more toll increases on the tamar crossings. They see this as an additional tax on many of their constituents and on local businesses. In the longer term they are hoping that we can get an alterative way to fund these crossings but in the short term they don't want to see any increase.
By adding your name below they plan to petition parliament to urge the Secretary of State for Transport to not allow any increase. They presented the petition to Parliament but hope to be able to present it to Downing Street after the election. Data will not be kept for more than a year.
