Local MP Sheryll Murray met with many local firms at the Royal Cornwall Show and listened to many of the issues these businesses face.
The Show is the largest in the Duchy, is over 200 years old, boasts over 1,000 trade stands and regularly attracts over 100,000 people.
In a statement following the show Sheryll said, “It was fantastic to see so many local producers at the Royal Cornwall Show last week.
“Many are involved in food production such as Trewithen Dairy, Cornish Orchards, Cornish Blue, Cornish Gouda Co and Nippers shellfish. Many of these producers have won awards for the quality of their produce.
“One I had not met before was the Cashen Cornish Woodcraft who make hot tubs from local sustainable wood. The tubs are wood fired and seem to be of a very high quality.
“We are lucky to have so many talented people in this constituency."
