On Saturday 12th February Sheryll Murray, MP for South East Cornwall, spent time with the disabled following her busy Saturday advice surgery.
The event at a closed for the day Eden Project was organised by Cornwall Council through the Aiming High For Disabled Children programme which aims to transform services for disabled children and their families.
Following the event Sheryll said, “I was delighted to attend the Celebration event organised by Aiming High for Disabled Children at Eden. It was heartening to see this superb tourist venue close its doors to the Public for a day to allow disabled children and their families’ access to the facilities and enjoy so many activities like ice skating, go carting or enjoy listening and participating in entertainment like the Caribbean Band. I would like to pay a huge tribute to the staff from Cornwall Council children’s department and also to Tim Smit and everyone at Eden for making this memorable day such a successful occasion.”
