On a visit local MP Sheryll Murray faced a grilling from younger constituents from Trewidland Community Primary School on Friday.
After a wide ranging session on issues including what a Member of Parliament does there were questions on aspects of politics that affected them. Education was a key issue with a discussion on the syllabus and testing.
Following her visit Sheryll said, “I always enjoy visiting local schools and would like to thank Trewidland school for their kind invitation. Last week I met with three local schools. I also met with both St Neot Community Primary School and Sir Robert Gefferys School from Landrake in Parliament at the new Education Centre. It is always good to see youngsters take an interest in what politicians do and how the decisions taken affect them.”
