Sheryll Murray MP officially opened a new Zen Garden and birds nest swing at Morley Tamblyn Adult Day Care Center on Wednesday. Sheryll thanked Bond Timber and Viridor for their sponsorship.
Sheryll explained, “I always enjoy visiting Morley Tamblyn to meet the staff and also the people who attend this fantastic Day Centre. I always receive such a warm welcome and this time was no exception. I was greeted with a burger or hotdog and then took part in the official opening of the Zen garden and Bird Nest Swing. I would like to take the opportunity to thank support the two local businesses that have donated to these projects, Bond Timber and Viridor.”
The idea for a Zen Garden came after the carers noted the reaction of their clients at a visit to The Japanese Garden & Bonsai Nursery at St Mawgan just outside Newquay. They described the positive response to the garden and were keen to replicate this using an unused area at Morley Tamblyn Lodge.
