Local MP Sheryll Murray was pleased to join many others to walk a four mile sponsored walk for the Children’s Hospice South West in Saltash on Saturday.
Children’s Hospice South West describes the walks as, “These special ladies only walks have been described by previous women as ‘inspiring and uplifting’. The events bring together women of all ages who take to the moonlit streets to walk in memory of someone they have loved and lost.”
Following the event Sheryll said, “I was pleased to join so many ladies on a walk through Saltash to remember loved ones and to raise money for the Children’s Hospice South West. I walked the route in memory of Sarah Radley, my god-daughter, who died of brain tumour in August.
“I would like to thank the organisers and the many helpers who made this walk such a success. In particular I would like to thank Saltash Lions, the Rotary Club of Saltash, 4x4 Response and the many others who marshalled the walk.
