Sheryll Murray MP was pleased to open the Dicken’s Fayre held at the St Cyriacus & St Julitta church in Luxulyan on Friday. The Church was decorated for a Victorian Christmas with stallholders and many people dressed in period costume.
There were a wide range of stalls and entertainment from the more traditional carol singers to a fire eater. The church, which is many hundreds of years old, was packed with local people keen to take part in the festivities.
After the event Sheryll commented, “I was privileged to open the Dickens Fayre which was held in aid of Luxulyan’s beautiful Norman Church. The upkeep of the historic 15th century Church is very costly and I was pleased to do my part.”
