New store welcomed to Saltash

Sheryll Murray MP was pleased to join Saltash Mayor David Yates on Friday to open the new B&M store in Saltash behind Waitrose in what used to be the Focus DIY store.  The most southerly location for the chain employs over 80 people and covers 41,000 square feet at a site overlooking the town’s famous bridges.

Sheryll Murray MP celebrates her old school’s 50th Birthday party

Sheryll Murray MP was pleased to join pupils and teachers, new and old, to celebrate 50 years of Torpoint Community College at its current site.  The site, which was opened in 1963, has been since expanded including a new art block which was opened by Rt Hon Margaret Thatcher in 1973 when Sheryll herself was a pupil.

Sheryll Murray was pleased to join other MPs and Peers to attend Westminster Flu Day, a flu vaccine clinic held in the House of Commons, to encourage their constituents to get this season’s flu vaccine in line with Government recommendations.

Local MP Sheryll Murray was pleased to join family at a celebration at Kingsand Community Centre for Doll Jago’s 100th Birthday.  Doll, who is a distant relation of Sheryll’s late husband Neil, was always known fondly to the family as ‘Auntie Doll’.
