Minister meets with MP and constituents over Rame Dumping

Local MP Sheryll Murray MP was pleased to join some of her constituents at a meeting with DEFRA Minister George Eustice MP to discuss the issue of Rame dumping.  The cross party delegation, organised by Mrs Murray, included Independent, Conservative and Liberal Democrat Councillors as well as residents.

Apprenticeships sought from 300 in 100 campaign

Local MP Sheryll Murray MP was pleased to welcome local businesses to the Cornwall School of Tourism and Hospitality based in St Mellion to discuss Apprenticeships.  The meeting was held on Friday as part of the campaign to get businesses to sign up to 300 apprentices in 100 days.

Dead remembered in run up to Holocaust Memorial Day

Sheryll Murray was pleased to sign the Book of Commitment to mark the Holocaust Memorial Day in the Houses of Parliament today.  The Holocaust Educational Trust, who organised the Book of Commitment, was formed in 1988 to raise awareness and understanding in the wider public of the Holocaust which took place across Europe during World War Two killing over six million Jews.

New Brasserie at Barclay House “a great success”

Local MP Sheryll Murray MP was pleased to accept an invitation from the Barclay House on Friday to their opening night of the re-branding of their Award Winning 2 AA rosette restaurant as a more laid back Brasserie.
