Local MP Sheryll Murray was pleased to attend and draw the raffle at the Rotary Club of Saltash’s 3rd Real Ale Festival at the Union Inn on the waterfront over the weekend.
The Ales on offer were both local and further away including Cottage’s Battle of Britain, Skinners’ Porthleven, McMullen IPA, Courage Best, Rebel Pale, Hunter’s Full Bore, Sherp’s Daymer Haze, Cottage’s Hurricane, Rebel Black Box, London Pride and Doom Bar. To accompany the real ale where a number of bands including Tim Bliss Band, Tom Anfield band, Becca Langsford, Vince Lee, Jeff Horsey, Bad Luck & Trouble, Rock Cycle, Ben Carr, Joe Russell Band, Below the incline and The Banana thieves.
Sheryll said, “The Rotary do such fantastic work both locally and internationally and it is always a real pleasure to help them whenever my Parliamentary schedule allows.
“It was fantastic to see on show the amazing amount of work they carry out right across the world. Whether it is literary boxes helping out schools or emergency shelter boxes for those in emergency need they do a lot of good and in many cases save lives.
“I would like to pay tribute to the Rotary and thank them for the incredibly hard work they do.”
