Sheryll Murray MP was pleased to join Saltash Mayor David Yates on Friday to open the new B&M store in Saltash behind Waitrose in what used to be the Focus DIY store. The most southerly location for the chain employs over 80 people and covers 41,000 square feet at a site overlooking the town’s famous bridges.
Sheryll explained, “On Friday, I was delighted to open the new B&M Store in Saltash with the Mayor of Saltash Cllr David Yates. The Store is located in the old Focus store Building. B&M was formed in 1978 and is now one of the leading variety retailers in the UK. From its first store in Blackpool, Lancashire, B&M has grown to over 350 stores and employs over 13000 staff. B&M believe in selling top branded products at sensational prices. They attract over 2 million happy customers through our doors a week. I really hope that visitors to the store will also pay a visit to Saltash Town Centre and browse in the fantastic range of local shops.”
