Local MP Sheryll Murray was pleased to welcome Cornish Soapcakes to their new shop in the Cattle Market in Liskeard.
The company describes itself as, "We at Cornish Soapcakes are proud of our natural products that are kept as simple as possible using only the ingredients necessary to feed and nurture your skin. Testing is only ever done on ourselves and then on willing friends and family! But honestly no harmful ingredients are used, in fact, most are of food quality. We started out making natural soaps and then went on to develop our own recipe natural deodorants, body butters, scrubs and cleansers and even a bath cleaner. We are influenced by fair trading, buying locally, sustainability, good for us and good for the environment."
Sheryll said, "I am always pleased to welcome new business just starting up to the town centre. Local shops like these bringing new products to the town and encourage people to use our town centre both from Liskeard and from further afield. I would like to wish them the very best with their venture and hope they prosper. I have now had an opportunity to use some of their products and they were fantastic."
