Liskeard Architect honoured

Sheryll Murray MP was delighted to visit an exhibition of the work of Liskeard architect, Bard and town Burgess George Vaughan-Ellis in Stuart House today.

The exhibition was in tribute to George who died last year.

Sheryll joined Eileen Crouch who was instrumental in creating the exhibition.  Eileen Crouch gave a tour to Sheryll of the exhibition showing a lot of work undertaken by George.

Following her visit Sheryll said, “I would like to thank Eileen and the team for giving me such a fantastic insight into the work of what was a very talented architect in the town.  George has certainly left a his mark on the town through his work and I certainly appreciate better the fantastic buildings we have in the town.”
