Local MP Sheryll Murray was a guest at the Annual Winter Show of the Dance with Jodie school at Looe Bay Holiday Park on Saturday.
The show had the theme ‘Black Tie’ and all pieces were choreographed and edited by Jodie Martin-Bond. Dance with Jodie has been running for three years providing dance classes for a number of different styles and age ranges in Looe and the surrounding area. The performance was the third wintershow and the students have also performed at Looe Music festival for the past three years.
Following the event Sheryll said, “The show was great fun and really enjoyable. The hall was packed and everyone seemed to have a really great evening. I cannot praise Jodie enough and she shows that we have some very talented people here in South East Cornwall. She has turned her dance school into a great success and should be congratulated for all her efforts.”
At the end of the event Jodie thanked a number of people including Denise Bond for costumes, Alex King and Kiera Sylvester for their help with choreography, Maria Beach for hair, Robin Skelcey for technical assistant and Billy Rickards for taking photos.
Also at the end Sheryll thanked Jodie for what was a “fantastic evening”.
