Apprenticeships sought from 300 in 100 campaign

Local MP Sheryll Murray MP was pleased to welcome local businesses to the Cornwall School of Tourism and Hospitality based in St Mellion to discuss Apprenticeships.  The meeting was held on Friday as part of the campaign to get businesses to sign up to 300 apprentices in 100 days.

Dead remembered in run up to Holocaust Memorial Day

Sheryll Murray was pleased to sign the Book of Commitment to mark the Holocaust Memorial Day in the Houses of Parliament today.  The Holocaust Educational Trust, who organised the Book of Commitment, was formed in 1988 to raise awareness and understanding in the wider public of the Holocaust which took place across Europe during World War Two killing over six million Jews.

New Brasserie at Barclay House “a great success”

Local MP Sheryll Murray MP was pleased to accept an invitation from the Barclay House on Friday to their opening night of the re-branding of their Award Winning 2 AA rosette restaurant as a more laid back Brasserie.

Local MP Sheryll Murray was pleased to meet with Looe’s Monkey Sanctuary ‘Wild Futures’ near Looe to discuss an enquiry into the Primate pet trade due to be held next month as part of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Committee.

New Spa opened at China Fleet

Local MP Sheryll Murray was pleased to open the new Spa at the China Fleet Club yesterday.  The Spa includes a Laconium (Roman spa), a salt steam room, an aroma steam room and a traditional Finnish Sauna.  Extra facilities include ceramic loungers, an ice chute, a foot spa, a spa pool, a Caribbean storm shower and a Cold shower experience given a wide range of different facilities at the Aqua Spa.
