Funding for Cornwall’s Air

Sheryll Murray MP is delighted that Cornwall Council has been awarded funding by the Government under the Air Quality Grant programme. The £236,650 will be used to fit Council vehicles with oxyhydrogen electrolysers.

MP attends unveiling of war grave

Local MP Sheryll Murray attended a service held by the Looe Branch of the Royal British Legion on Saturday.

The service was held to commemorate Pte Richard Yeo of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry and to unveil a new headstone supplied by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

New name for new ship welcomed

Local MP Sheryll Murray MP has welcomed the news that there is to be a new HMS Tamar.  The new Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) for the Royal Navy is part of a £287 million contract, announced by the MOD today.

Almost £2 million for potholes in Cornwall

Local MP Sheryll Murray MP has welcomed the news that Cornwall will receive £1,847,000 to fix 34,900 potholes in Cornwall.  The Transport Secretary outlined the details of road improvements announced as part of the Autumn Statement.
